Lucknow: A total of 11 proposals including UP Agrotech Policy-2024 have been approved in the cabinet meeting (Yogi Cabinet Meeting) held in Lok Bhavan on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi). After the cabinet meeting, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi and Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh gave information about the decisions of the government by holding a press conference.
Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that the cabinet has approved the Uttar Pradesh Agritech Policy 2024. This is a big step of the government in the interest of farmers. The launch of digital registry program for farmers aims to double agricultural development.
Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh said that Livestock Poultry and Fisheries Feed Promotion Policy 2024 and Uttar Pradesh Fodder Policy 2024 have been approved. The aim is to promote balanced diet for animals. Under the Government of India scheme, a target has been taken to encourage farmers who register cattle for artificial insemination. A diet policy has been brought for the increase of good breed cows for milk production. The farmers of the state will prosper.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna said that the recommendations of the Pay Committee have been approved. It has been decided to increase the honorarium of 656 security guards, 2130 teachers, increase the incentive allowance of security guards. Under this decision, the security guards under the Governor and Chief Minister will get the benefit. Apart from this, a decision has been taken for vocational teachers in secondary schools.
In another decision of the Secondary Education Department, re-appointment of 2200 teachers on honorarium of 25 thousand, 30 thousand has been approved for recruitment to the vacant posts of ad-hoc teachers in non-government aided secondary schools.
Approval has been given to transfer 5 acres of land of the Secondary Education Department in Kanpur Dehat to the Social Welfare Department. Land was needed for the construction of Jayaprakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. The proposal for its construction has been approved.
Suresh Khanna informed that MoU with MSME and ITPO has been approved for promoting industrial investment in the state. Under this, work will be done to build a convention center on the lines of Bharat Mandapam Delhi in Lucknow Varanasi.
A proposal has been approved to make a Special Investment Region Act. Under this, Uttar Pradesh will be the fourth state in the country in which this act will be implemented. In Uttar Pradesh, its name will be NIRMAN ACT (Nodal Investment Region for Manufacturing). Currently, this act is in 3 states (Gujarat, Karnataka, Rajasthan). Apart from this, 2 proposals were from the Home Department which were approved. A proposal for purchase of 03 electric vehicles and routine lease and demolition was also passed.
